The Intero Platform uses artificial intelligence technology to deliver coaching responses based on the Intero performance methodology. This disclaimer governs your understanding of the nature, capabilities, and limitations of AI-powered coaching on the Platform.

1. The Intero AI Coach Is an AI System

The coaching responses you receive through the Intero Platform are generated by an artificial intelligence system built on large language model technology (provided by Anthropic, Inc.) and governed by the Intero methodology as a system prompt.

The AI coach is not a human being. It is not Jeff Banman. It is an AI system trained to apply the Intero methodology in its responses.

2. What the AI Coach Is

The Intero AI coach is:

  • An AI system that applies the Intero nervous system regulation methodology to your inputs
  • A performance coaching tool that integrates your self-report data, biometric data, and conversation history to generate personalized responses
  • A methodology delivery system — it delivers the Intero frameworks (SAFE, OCASA, C³, IDC, OAI, the Development Arc) as applied to your individual data and stated situation
  • A tool for building physiological self-awareness and performance regulation over time

3. What the AI Coach Is Not

The Intero AI coach is NOT:

  • A human being or human coach
  • Jeff Banman or any specific person
  • A licensed therapist, psychologist, physician, or healthcare professional
  • A crisis intervention service
  • Infallible or guaranteed to be accurate in all responses
  • A substitute for human professional judgment in high-stakes situations
  • A medical, psychological, or therapeutic service of any kind

4. Limitations of AI Coaching

4.1 AI Responses May Be Incorrect

AI-generated coaching responses are based on the inputs you provide and the methodology encoded in the system. The AI may generate responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your specific situation. Always apply your own judgment to AI-generated coaching content.

4.2 The AI Does Not Know You Fully

The AI coach operates from the data you have provided to the Platform. It does not have access to your full medical history, your complete life context, or information you have not entered into the Platform. Its responses are necessarily limited by the information available to it.

4.3 AI Cannot Replace Human Judgment

In high-stakes situations — particularly those involving health decisions, medical symptoms, mental health crises, or emergency circumstances — do not rely on AI-generated coaching. Seek qualified human professional assistance.

4.4 AI May Misunderstand Context

AI language models can misinterpret nuanced situations, emotional context, or complex personal circumstances. If a response from the AI coach does not seem right for your situation, do not follow it. Use your own judgment.

4.5 No Continuity Guarantee

While the Platform is designed to maintain conversation history for context, the AI system does not have persistent memory in the way a human coach would. Each session is informed by stored data but the AI does not have subjective awareness of your history.

5. Jeff Banman and the AI Coach

Jeff Banman is the founder of Intero Performance, Inc. and the developer of the Intero methodology. The AI coach is built on the Intero methodology and is designed to communicate in a manner consistent with Jeff Banman’s coaching approach.

However:

  • The AI coach is not Jeff Banman
  • Interactions with the AI coach are not the same as direct coaching with Jeff Banman
  • Jeff Banman does not review or approve individual AI coaching responses in real time
  • Direct coaching with Jeff Banman is a separate service available to Pro tier subscribers under a separate engagement structure

During the early stage of the Platform, Jeff Banman reviews aggregate AI performance and refines the system prompt. This review is at the system level, not at the individual conversation level.

6. Third-Party AI Infrastructure

The AI coaching system is powered by large language model technology provided by Anthropic, Inc. Your conversation data is processed by Anthropic’s systems in accordance with Anthropic’s terms of service and privacy policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your conversation content is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic’s infrastructure.

Intero has contractual data processing protections in place with Anthropic. We do not permit Anthropic to use your conversation data for model training without separate explicit consent.

7. Do Not Share Sensitive Information

While the Platform is designed to receive personal health and performance data, we advise you not to share the following through the AI coaching interface:

  • Social Security numbers or government identification numbers
  • Financial account information
  • Passwords or access credentials
  • Detailed information about third parties without their consent
  • Any information you would not want processed by an AI system

8. AI Errors and Feedback

If you receive a coaching response that you believe is harmful, inaccurate, or inappropriate, do not follow the advice in that response. You may report concerning AI responses to legal@interoperformance.com. We use this feedback to improve the system prompt and coaching quality.

9. Evolving Technology

AI technology is rapidly evolving. The capabilities and limitations of the Intero AI coach may change over time as underlying technology and the Intero system prompt are updated. We will notify users of material changes to the AI coaching system.
