Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all subscription purchases made through the Intero Platform at tryintero.com. By subscribing to the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your account settings at tryintero.com (Settings → Subscription → Cancel)
  • The Stripe customer portal (accessible through your account settings)
  • Email to legal@interoperformance.com with your account email and cancellation request

2.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Platform until the end of the period for which you have already paid. You will not be charged for the following billing period.

2.3 Example

If your billing date is the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 20th, your subscription remains active until the 14th of the following month. You will not be charged on the 15th of the following month.

2.4 Early Adopter Pricing

If you subscribed at early adopter pricing, cancellation permanently forfeits your early adopter rate. If you resubscribe after cancellation, you will be charged the then-current subscription rate, which may be higher than your original early adopter rate.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Policy

Intero subscriptions are non-refundable except as described in this Section 3.

3.2 Seven-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with the Platform for any reason, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your initial subscription payment. To request a refund under the satisfaction guarantee:

  • Email legal@interoperformance.com within 7 days of your initial charge
  • Include your account email address and the reason for your refund request
  • Refunds under this guarantee are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method

The satisfaction guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only. It does not apply to resubscription after a previous cancellation.

3.3 Technical Failure Refunds

If the Platform is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to technical failure on Intero’s part, you may request a prorated refund for the period of unavailability. Scheduled maintenance windows do not qualify for refunds. To request a technical failure refund, contact legal@interoperformance.com.

3.4 No Refunds for Partial Months

Except as provided in Sections 3.2 and 3.3, Intero does not issue refunds for partial subscription periods, including if you cancel mid-period, do not use the Platform during a billing period, or are dissatisfied after the seven-day satisfaction guarantee period.

3.5 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscription refund policy to be determined. Contact legal@interoperformance.com for current terms.

4. Direct Coaching Sessions — Jeff Banman

Direct coaching sessions with Jeff Banman (available to Pro tier subscribers) are governed by a separate cancellation and refund policy established at the time of booking.

General terms for direct coaching:

  • Sessions cancelled more than 48 hours in advance: full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Sessions cancelled within 48 hours: 50% refund or one reschedule credit
  • Sessions cancelled within 24 hours or no-shows: no refund
  • Package sessions (Starter Package or Full Engagement): individual session cancellation terms apply; packages are non-refundable after the first session has been completed

5. Price Lock — Early Adopters

Early adopter pricing is locked at the rate in effect at the time of subscription for the duration of a continuous active subscription. This price lock is forfeited upon cancellation, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Resubscription after any gap in coverage is at the then-current rate.

6. Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, contact legal@interoperformance.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Intero will investigate and resolve legitimate billing disputes promptly. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing time is 5-10 business days, though your bank or credit card company may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
